Booked this hotel as gift for my sister and niece and they have enjoyed the stay and the location which is nearby all interesting spots walking distance. At the arrival they got a very small room despite my genius 3 level but the lady at the reception did immediately support the change and free upgrade when we did ask for it. My family enjoyed the hotel
Some basics like water kettle and coffee are not provided in basic rooms which are also very small rooms compared to other scandic. If you want these basics you will need to book a superior room.

Perfect location! Swimming pool! Excellent breakfast!
Water in the swimming pool was a bit too cold for my taste.

The room was newly furbished, albeit small. The breakfast was good. The location is quite central in the city with walking distance to most things.
The hotel itself bears traces of coming out of the 70/80s, only partially refurbished, the dining room and the restaurant next to the reception look old, and the same for the outdoor seating area. The ambiance of the surroundings is a bit rough with massage salons and tattoo shops.
