8 / 10Excellent·Sep 2026

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location suited because we liked the walk too town and back. The use of an outdoor swimming pool. On a clear day the views over the surrounding area are great. The breakfast was varied and good. We both had the hotels evening buffet which we both liked.

The thing I suppose which we felt wasn't right was our hotel room had damaged and torn curtains & which for a four star hotel was a poor show. The bedding could have been better. Also the property itself needed painting in places and paving near pool etc needed repairing. We did ask if we could have a better room but was told hotel was fully booked.
