The smell of cooking in the hallways

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel — every aspect was wonderful, especially the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who assisted us in every possible way. The pool was amazing, the cocktails and service was spot‑on, and we loved having a pool‑access room that made everything feel extra luxurious. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with the smorgasbords offering a great chance to try delicious local dishes. We even enjoyed watching a wedding taking place at the hotel, which added such a beautiful atmosphere to our stay. The only downside was that we wished we had stayed longer! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable experience and easy access to the GEM, a few minutes by taxi.

My only ONE issue was we were shown a room with a bath in booking.com site which is a prerequisite for our room choice due to relief from back issues and we were given a pool size room with only a shower. I guess all the good rooms were taken by the wedding party.

The excellent service provided by the breakfast team, who were always friendly and attentive. The lifeguards were attentive and professional, and the bellboy was especially helpful. He noticed that we were having difficulty carrying our luggage during check-out and immediately offered assistance without being asked.

Upon arrival, we did not receive a warm welcome or any orientation of the property. We were unexpectedly asked to move to another building without being escorted or given clear directions, which made the arrival experience confusing and inconvenient. When we entered the room, my entire family immediately started sneezing due to what appeared to be excessive dust or an unpleasant smell in the room. This created a poor first impression and raised concerns about the room's cleanliness and air quality. The room was also not adequately stocked with amenities, and we had to request additional items. Unfortunately, our requests were never properly acknowledged or followed up on, which left us feeling overlooked throughout our stay. Although our in-room dining order arrived on time, the food was cold, which significantly affected the quality of the meal. The club sandwich, in particular, was disappointing and not enjoyable. We were also disappointed to find that the kids' club was closed, and no one informed us of this in advance, which impacted our plans for the stay. Overall, the team could be more attentive, proactive, and communicative. Better guest engagement, timely acknowledgment of requests, clearer communication, and greater attention to cleanliness and room readiness would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
