We stayed in a beautifully appointed one bedroom apartment for 3 nights. On the day of arrival we were a bit early so left our luggage and walked into the city - a pleasant walk downhill, but recommend catching bus back. In the evening we enjoyed the breathtaking view with drinks on the Terrace, followed by a delicious meal in the Panorama bistro. Our apartment had everything we needed, including washing machine and coffee machine and cookies. There were 2 TV's, one in living area and one in bedroom. We came across from UK and Belfast into Ireland so we were not prepared for the 'cash society' that still exists. You will need some euro. If you don't want to buy a Leap Card, make sure you have 5 euro for the bus trip, they get annoyed if you give them more...The Montenotte is a beautiful accommodation facility with very well trained service staff. I would return without hesitation.
This was our last stop before heading back to Australia, thankfully nothing to fault, a lovely way to end our holiday.
