Everything! A very relaxed atmosphere that was very comfortable in all the right ways. Not overly luxurious in a good way.
The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. My friend and I brought a 20-year port to share and celebrate 20 years of friendship. Gabriel insisted that the normal glasses in our room were not sufficient and went to restaurant to collect proper Port glasses, while also making a dinner reservation. He also arranged to have bikes prepared for us, so we would ride to beach (1 mile) to catch the sunset; set a fire in the firepit after sunset; and warmed up the sauna for us after dinner.
There was nothing to dislike. My room was a little small for 2, but perfect for myself. It had a comfortable bed, clean and well equipped bathroom.

Just a great hotel overall - the food was class, the service was top (we came back from a long hike at the end of one of the day and the restaurant was closed but the GM just figured everything out for us in 5 mins - booked us a table at a fantastic local restaurant + a cab, they let us check out slightly later than usual as we were tired)
The animals / garden / scenery around was great.

Absolutely everything was top quality and perfect. The location, my room, the facilities, the experienced & helpful staff, the beautiful breakfast and the top quality restaurant. Lovely surrounding area, with great walks, views and places to visit.
There is absolutely no shortcomings, absolutely nothing at all (honestly) that can be highlighted as a negative.
