For the price I hoped it would be decently presented, probably older style furnishings etc, and clean. It was that and more. Very pleased and I will be coming back when I visit Port Sunlight for work. It’s perfect for me
Bar closed at 10 but that’s not a big deal at all.

Food and all staff were all very good. Very spacious room which may have been a little shabby but very clean. Bed linen was clean and fresh and lots of pillows to choose from

The staff were lovely, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was clean.
There were severe leaks in the corridor by the bedrooms – paper peeling off the walls, damp stains down the walls, sodden carpets, buckets collecting water, and an overpowering stench of damp. All of the window frames seemed to be afflicted by rot, and were consequently neither airtight nor kept out the damp. Worst of all, there was black mould in my bedroom.
