Good breakfast in the cosy cafe opposite.
Unfortunately the radiator in the bathroom didn't work. We were offered an alternative room but decided to stay as the room itself was large comfortable and warm.

Breakfast over the Road and car parking facilities. All staff very pleasant.
Room 22 - second floor, no lift, no A/C and very hot and noisy. Choice of a noisy fan or leave window open which overlooked a noisy late night courtyard. I appreciate that the hotel is old and quirky, but the Bathroom is very dated and would benefit from a refit. Even though my wife and self are relatively fit - we are both approaching 80 and it was a struggle to manage cases to this room. Had dinner in the lounge, but quite frankly can only rate as average 'pub grub'. We have stayed here on more than one occasion and previously had enjoyable stays but disappointed this time and will probably not stay again.
