I've always been intrigued when this hotel came up in searches, and finally got to experience it. I was welcomed by security staff as there were some events going on, or preparation for them, directed to parking and then checked in at reception. The room was easy to find, very spacious, with a really comfortable bed, all typical room facilities and a fabulous view over the pitches.
The bathroom was great and everywhere was spotless.
Although there are no communal facilities, there are well stocked vending machines in reception and you are moments away from shops, bars and restaurants.
If you miss the entrance and rely on your satnav you might end up in a spiral of dead ends in the neighbouring estate... But that isn't the hotel's fault! You enter what looks like a typical stadium security entrance, there isn't s seperate hotel entrance.

Very good value. Lots of free parking.
No facilities, but we knew that so still happy for one night.
