Breakfast was good and value for money. Hotel is in a prime location.
Hotel could do with a little updating, looked tired in places.
Possibly some background music in the bar area.

The staff were kind and professional. The young receptionist went out of her way to take me to my room because she could see I was feeling anxious. It was very much appreciated. The same young lady came and got a wasp out of my room too. Breakfast was lovely, lots of selection. The room was cosy and I slept extremely well. The hotel has a lovely welcoming ambience.
There are 3 steps down from the door way to the bedroom. A felt it really needed a hand rail putting up. But I appreciate this is a really old building and that might not be possible.

We were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely suprise.
Reception staff were really friendly and professional at all times.
We needed to leave before breakfast but we were able to take some pastries for our travels.
Parking off site but not a far walk.
