The refurbished rooms were amazing ! The TV was big like the one back home and it made you want to relax in your room. Staff were very helpful and friendly and even offered us use of a room with a bath to warm up.
Nothing really. Just would've been perfect place for me if they build some spa facilities in the future.

Location and the atmosphere.
Quiet and very easy to get good rest.

Staff were friendly, everywhere was clean.
Could do with a printed instruction guide in the rooms how to use the room features, bathroom mirror light we couldn't turn off and the fan was running all night
Toilet was not easily accessible for vertically challenged individuals

The bathroom was great. Large shower with textured floor so it wasn't slippery, although a rubber bath mat was also provided, which I appreciate. I also liked the little Smeg kettle, which was cute and clean. Service at breakfast was efficient.
Booked a four poster suite for our wedding night, was then contacted to be told it wasn't actually available due to ongoing refurbishment, and offered a slightly smaller room and champagne instead. The room was pretty small and smelled strongly of paint, and the door handle was unfinished. Breakfast was not great, with sausages chewier than a dog toy. I guess I expected much better given the price point.
