Excellent location in heart of Moffat.Very spacious and comfortable cottage in the hotel grounds. NIce traditional hotel with lively bar and good, food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There were even chocolates waiting for us!

The room was spacious with a sitting room area to watch television. The jug of fresh milk for tea was a nice touch, as were the little chocolates! Breakfast was plentiful and served in the room with a warm fire which was very cosy.
Nothing. It was all consistent with our previous stays here.

central to the town
Breakfast was nice
Our room was so high up we weren’t able to carry our suitcase up. Asked about a change of room but apparently it was fully booked. Did ask booking.com for a bottom floor but the message didn’t go though. When we arrived in our room it was so hot. Didn’t cool down till around 2am. Not a good night.
