The hotel is set in beautiful green surroundings, with plenty of open space. A lovely surprise was spotting a small herd of cows in the neighbouring field, which added to the charm of the countryside setting. The entrance can be a little easy to miss, so keeping an eye out for the signs on the approach is advisable.
Enhance the spa experience, particularly given the generous space available across the property. If a sauna is already available elsewhere in the hotel, clearer information about its location would be helpful. The swimming pool can also get quite busy, especially with the number of guests staying at the hotel, so a slightly larger pool could help make the experience more comfortable during busier periods.

The room was in the old Stables and was very comfortable
I had the fish and chips from the 'bar' menu, The chips were ok, the peas were trying too hard to be something special, the curry sauce was about the consistency of a thin soup and the fish, which appeared to be from frozen, was tasteless and was dripping in grease.

It’s not bad overall
The rooms are generally small. It’s too expensive for the amount paid. We booked 3 days and did some photoshoot but some staff were rude and chased us off despite I emailed prior booking.
