Beautiful Georgian hotel with well apportioned clean rooms , good sized car park and lovely grounds. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
It is in a beautiful location and our dog loved the grounds, the very comfortable doughnut bed provided and bowls.

I have stayed at Statham Lodge on numerous occasions. The rooms are always comfortable and the staff are friendly.
I had booked for my son, daughter in law and grand daughter to join me for breakfast on the Sunday. We waited over half an hour for it to arrive and my daughter in laws breakfast was stone cold. They offered to make another so we waited for another breakfast for her. The previous morning I was asked if I required anything else from the breakfast table before they cleared it, on the Sunday all the breakfast food was taken away while we were still eating. Breakfast finished at 10.00, but we had waited half an hour for ours and then a second for my daughter in laws, and we were not asked before they cleared the breakfast table if we would like anything else. The staff also cleared our table of additional breakfast items while my daughter in law was still eating. It is merely polite not to clear the table of additional breakfast items while a guest is still eating.
