The hotel is in an excellent location, especially for those who value being close to the main bus station. There is also a bus stop just 100–200 meters from the hotel, where you can catch bus 22, which takes you directly to the airport. So, in terms of location, the hotel is excellent!
The breakfast is quite decent. I didn’t interact with the staff much, but they seemed friendly, especially the young woman who takes care of the breakfast service in the restaurant.
The hallways are interesting, with old-fashioned furniture that adds to the hotel’s charm. This is one of those traditional, old-school hotels that has stayed true to its heritage, and that’s perfectly fine.
The bed is large and comfortable, and the room was clean. I was also welcomed with some tea in the room, which was a nice touch.
The hotel could definitely benefit from some renovation. It doesn’t need to abandon its traditional style, but it wouldn’t hurt to modernize a few things beyond just the key card system. :)
My biggest complaint is that there was no shampoo in the bathroom, which is rather unacceptable for a 3 or 4 star hotel. Even hostels provide shampoo.
Overall, the hotel is not bad at all, but there is room for improvement when it comes to those little details that can make a difference to guests.

Our stay here hit everything we needed! The location perfectly balanced easy access to Old Town while also providing peaceful evenings, and it also ended up being a convenient spot to arrive (by bus from Tallinn) and to leave (by Traveller Tours to Vilnius). The room had some quirky charm that you don't get with the copy/paste look of so many modern hotels these days, and it was comfortable and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the variety of breakfast options in the morning to get our day started, too.
It wasn't an issue for us, but our room did have one low step inside - figure some people with mobility issues might appreciate a heads up to check about this when booking!
