The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding and we couldn’t fault the staff, from getting an umbrella, to being provided with a late checkout to getting a courtesy and informative response to any question to getting a bucket of ice to our rooms within minutes. It’s a classy, roomy hotel
And perhaps the greatest attraction of all is the location, right on the river with magnificent walks, and close to Great World which buzzes with activity and attractions.
Nothing really, aside maybe from the two whoppers pillows we had. My wife and I prefer a slightly softer, leaner variety but it was a minor point.

The location and facilities for us to travel with three 80-90 year olds was excellent.
The pool is accessible for them which is why we choose the hotel.
The drinks in the afternoon on the verandah is also perfect except you could do with a few more items added to happy hour. There was less this year than last year.
The pool are is very unattended and needs a redo. It needs an injection of colour to make it a real part of the hotel.
Better furniture and the bar open for a few hours each day would make this space more used.
It seems neglected.

Lovely view, great location- close to so many restaurants and attractions
Room was a little smaller than we thought but didn’t matter because of all other amenities

Good location close to the MTR
The staff were very abrupt and off hand. In the breakfast room nothing was kept topped up, when you asked for something you got a grunted reply of we not have or go over there!
