The resort itself is very good. Spacious and relaxing. Sanctuary rooms are comfortable. Free snacks were a bonus we did not expect. The choice of pools is great. Breakfast was awesome.
The staff was not the most responsive. Calls to reception were going unanswered with no call backs. Gym was in a state of disrepair especially the outdoor one. Some of the tearoom staff showing us to our table just looked unhappy to do so. Wonder why? Bit of a walk from the imbiah station but manageable.

Beautiful relaxed and expansive setting Pools were quiet so we had a very relaxing 2 day stop over after 4 busy weeks in Europe

Good location for visiting to theme parks. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffets.
The entire hotel was a bit tired looking. Our bathroom had a toilet cistern that leaked. Lack of hanging points for towels in bathroom.

The deluxe king room we were assigned was on Level 4, where both sides of the room were not sound proofed at all. We could hear full conversations and footsteps in the hallway, and the television from the room across the hall, and our window looked straight down to Sanctuary Tearoom, so we were awoken by dog barking that sounded like it was coming from by our bedside. Needless to say…. Our rest wasn’t great.
The room wasn’t properly cleaned — the bar area had stains that weren’t cleaned, the bed frame had make up stains on it, and as we were going to bed we realised there was a half-dead lizard hanging out above the pillows.
