Courtyard, beachside location, swimming pool
The pillows were not good at all. Firstly we had pillows that were way too tall and too hard which gave a sore neck. We then changed them for some softer ones but these were much too soft and offered zero neck support and gave a sore neck. Somewhere in between would be great!

The Winchester Hotel is so beautiful. The decor is stunning, the courtyard is amazing, the room was lovely. We had the buffet breakfast and it was delicious. The staff were exceptional, super friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect!
Absolutely nothing!

Everything about the stay was excellent. Meals were fantastic and breakfast fit for a queen. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and professional. It will always be my first choice for a stay over in Cape Town. Thank you
Difficult to improve on perfection.

It is conveniently located. The breakfast was varied and tasty.
I knew the room did not have a view but I expected more space, better finishes and everything to work. The reception area is small and mostly chaotic. There is only one rather slow lift. The services are available on the TV only and it was showing photos but no detail such as the restaurant menu. The cupboard door did not fit properly, was flimsy and banged against the bedroom door when opened. The hanging space was tiny and occupied entirely by an ironing board which had to stand out in the room in order to fit in my clothes. The shower door stuck. It was quickly fixed when I reported it. The restaurant menu was more that of a pub than that of a high-end restaurant
