beautiful hotel in old building; lots of character. Good size bedroom & bathroom; easy access to drive & park ourtside hotel

Loved the building and the staff in the bar/coffee shop were lovely and very attentive. The underground parking for our motorcycles was also excellent. We had a superior double room with far reaching views on two sides of the building. The room was very spacious and lovely air conditioning
We had a meal in the hotel restaurant, which was ok, but was a little on the pricey side for what it was. I enjoyed my meal in their bar/cafe more

The reception staff were great and the accommodation itself is really wonderful. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The AC was wiring well. I would definitely recommend.
We only ate in the lounge area which is beautiful. The service was not the fastest but that’s ok. The waiters were studiously surly, almost doing it on purpose to avoid any cheerfulness. It did not impede on our enjoyment but it was a bit unsettling to be greeted with such lack of warmth

It is a beautiful town and the property is impressive. We liked the bar area.
It may seem a small thing but there was no water provided in the room unless purchased from the minibar. This is contrary to our experience in other paradors. Staff in the bar area were not particularly friendly.
