There’s really nothing to fault. It was a special birthday trip, so we spent a little more than normal. We’ve stayed at hotels described as ‘luxury’ before, and sometimes they don’t seem that much better or the staff are condescending as if that makes the place better. This was not like that. We were impressed by the welcome, and attentiveness from the outset. The building, although modern is grand and a little quirky. Very spacious and plenty of options for bar or fine dining. I enjoyed the pool space, although it was a little cold at the end of October for the outdoor swim! The breakfast was great, with plenty of options, both international and local. We stayed in a superior room, which was exceptional, with a large bath as well as shower area. The bed was large and very comfortable and the balcony view was also lovely. The location is close to the old town, and literally on the promenade, with beaches close by. The family vibe of the team of staff was really refreshing, and they treated you as welcome guests, rather than customers they had to put up with. All very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Really difficult to find anything bad. I thought they could probably do with another coffee machine in the breakfast area, or make it clear that you can ask for a pot of tea or coffee. As we checked out they were going to charge for parking when we’d come on foot, which was laughed off by us and them. But in reality, we were 100% happy with our stay, and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location for exploring Cadiz
Not really a criticism, but it is a very modern building, so different from other parador experience

Location
Breakfast was extremely poor. Elevators out of action and generally austere feel
