Great location, clean and good access to the Powell/Hyde Cable car

Great location, and having a bar downstairs was a nice bonus.
There was no fridge or air conditioning in the room, and the cleaning could have been more thorough.

It was cheap, and very well located. Especially being so close to many public transit lines. Some of the art inside was nice.
The bed was uncomfortable. There was no AC, so we got hot, and when opening the window there was no screen, leading me to get bit by a mosquito that got in. The floor hadn't been cleaned. There were lots of crumbs and dirt under the bed so we didn't want to store anything there, and to ask for housekeeping was an extra charge. There was also no mini fridge, no extra toilet paper, no bathroom shelving or medicine cabinet, all of which we've had in even smaller hotel rooms before. And no front desk to talk to unless we wanted to walk up to the next block. No phone in the room to get room service or help. No luggage storage, so we had to pay for some at another hotel on our final day after checkout. It was just a generally bad experience with a lot of things missing.
