I have stayed in this hotel before and I like the location about 5 minutes walk from the city centre, and that the hotel is a characterful building, not just a box. It is also useful that the hotel does valet parking (for which you pay) as the location is within the city.
Very little. The only thing that grates was that the cleaners did not replace drinking cups/glasses every day despite obvious use. You would wash up used glasses daily at home so why are these left dirty in a hotel for 4 days. I have found this happens in other hotels. Location-wise the hotel is in a nice historic area but the wrong side of the city to the railway station if you need to use that. It could be difficult to get to by car without satnav as there are many one-way streets in the area.

Although the hotel is in a ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato, restricted traffic zone) I could go with my car to the hotel (I booked a garage spot in advance).
The buffet for breakfast is very good. You can even take the breakfast in the garden outside.

Location and character of original features. Breakfast was good.
Poor repair and maintenance. Needs major investment. Not enough staff, priority given to evening events closing the bar..
