About this apartment rental
The flat is on the 4th floor of an aparment building right in centre of town. Is spacious, and beautifully furnished, equipped with all amenities, but relatively small (100 square meters). The living-room, the master bead- room, and the office have a fantastic view to the sea and mount Esja. The living-room has two seating areas, and an in-glassed balcony with a small seating area. The living-room also features a small grand piano The master bedroom has a king size bed and a TV flat screen. The office is small, but there is a convertible sofa. The bathroom has a shower. The washing-room is outside the apartment accessed from the corridor. It is shared with the three other apartments on the floor but has a private washing machine and dryer. There is also a shared balcony in the corridor of the floor, facing south-east. There is a private parking place in the garage on ground floor. There is a bakery on ground floor and facing the house is a buss stop for local busses going to various destinations. Across the street to the west, there is a buss stop for excursions trips to tourist sites, as well as back and fort from the airport.

We had a marvelous stay! The flat is in an excellent location, the directions and recommendations from our host were easy to follow, everything was clean and easy to find. The views from the windows are spectacular.

This is a lovely apartment with a spectacular view and very convenient location. The apartment building was quiet, and we rarely saw and never heard other residents. The host provided detailed information before check-in. It is right on a major bus stop for both city busses and tour busses. It is an easy walk to all the sites, shops, and restaurants of city center. About 15 minutes walk to the old harbor where the whale and puffin boat trips depart. 25 minutes walk to the main bus terminal. 10 minutes walk to a Bonus grocery store. The oldest bakery in Iceland is downstairs, and we so enjoyed our morning stop for delicious fresh pastries! This apartment is very much the host’s home with many belongings, so for a longer term term stay it might be more difficult to settle in with limited closet space etc., but we made do just fine for less than a week and enjoyed the artistic personality of the home. Having a kitchen and the ability to make some meals at home helped keep costs down a bit. Overall, a great value for a prime location and view! We loved Iceland!

This is a beautiful apartment in the centre of Reykjavik with stunning views out to the sea. We would highly recommend, very well equipped, clean, with shops, restaurants, museums and Harpa concert hall on your doorstep. Tinna was helpful and welcoming.
