About this house rental
This- 4000+ SF mountain view home has all the amenities of fine living. From the soaring ceiling, original artwork, hand-hewn logs, granite counters, alder woodwork, with hardwood and slate flooring throughout. This home offers spectacular mountain views and a peaceful, relaxing setting.
The master and guest bedrooms have queen beds, private bathrooms and Smart TVs. The third level has two bedrooms , both with queen sized beds, with a shared full bath. The main level's master suite has a gas fireplace, TV, reading nook, and french doors to the deck and hot tub. On the lower level, there is a second master suite with full bath, which has a custom log crib and queen size bed. There are two additional bedrooms in the lower level with queen and single twin beds in each and a shared bath.
Entertaining family and friends will be easy with open living spaces on the main level: a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, dining room, and fireplaced great room with ample seating for 12 guests.
The third level-balcony/loft has a pool table, foosball, and 14 ft. shuffelboard with plenty of seating to watch those family/guest competitions!
On the lower level, in addition to 3 bedrooms, is a premier theater room with leather recliners for 12, featuring a 110' HD screen, and surround sound stereo system throughout.
On the deck, you will enjoy a 6-7 person hot tub, gas grill, outdoor seating and casual dining as you take in the mountain views and wildlife.
For outdoor activities: San Juan River Village has amenities you may enjoy close by. There is a copy of the SJRV Neighborhood Guidebook in the house when you arrive.
Pagosa Springs offers year round outdoor experiences you don't want to miss. In the spring, there is some great white water rafting on the Piedra River just west of town. Fishing on the San Juan is just a walk down the hill but for the best sites - check with the fish shops in town. There are two stocked ponds down the hill from the house that only owners and their guests are allowed to use. Hot air balloon rides are sometimes available in the summer. You can rent tubes to go down the San Juan River. If you are a skier, Wolf Creek has the most snow in all of Colorado and is a 17 mile ride up the switchbacks. There is no "ski in - ski out" lodging on the resort so the lift tickets are still reasonable with quad - turbo lifts and plenty of all levels of ski runs. The lift lines are usually very short or non-existent.

This place was the perfect summer getaway for my wife and I and our 5 adult kids/in-laws! Beautiful views, close to Pagosa, up on a hill, alone on a circle drive! Host was very thorough and helpful. The house was spacious and nicely decorated….beds were very comfortable, plenty of nice leather seating. The kitchen had ample cookware, silverware, and dishes..even a large cast iron skillet.…all the basic spices and oils. Morning coffee on the large deck looking at the mountains was an experience in itself!A few of the theater chairs might need some maintenance, but overall theater was very nice and was a hit with the family. The hot tub was large enough for 4 or 5 adults, but might be a little snug with more than that. Great view from the tub!!Not a bad view anywhere in the house! Overall, spectacular place! Lots to do in Pagosa and surrounding towns. We’ll be back!

This house is situated on a nice lot but there is a road beneath the property that is quite noisy. The house does not have air conditioning and with open windows, you can hear the traffic below.We did not receive an email with the code to get into the home the night before, we arrived at the home and only got the code after several lengthy phone calls with VRBO. Some of the photos do not accurately describe the house. We did however love the area of Pagosa Springs. Lots of family activities and overall a beautiful mountain town.
