The house was not as clean as we hoped. We found used underwear on a couch, dirty sock in the dryer, and others toys under a couch - along with much dirt. There was a leak in the roof that we found after it had been raining a while (it dripped into a box of our games). The website needs updating - every room had its own hairdryer, so we didn’t need to have brought them in luggage for instance. Maybe indicating there is a keurig in the kitchen would be a good idea. Some of the kitchen utensils desperately need to be replaced (can opener, peeler for example). The dishwasher doesn’t seem to work well. Even with rinsing dishes we ended up washing by hand after the dishwasher had run. Even tried using our own dishwasher soap in case that wa the issue. Maybe we cook more than most. We tried to vacuum the living room area but could not get the vacuum to pick up anything. The dryer seems to not work well either - it took 3 cycles to still not dry 4 pieces of clothing that had been through their washer. One of the king beds had the sheets put on sideways so they kept coming off during the first night. The grounds had quite a bit of trash which we spent some time picking up. One of the toilets just ran and ran and ran. The pool was a big hit!! But the hot tub had sand in it so we chose not to use it. Even though there were things we would have liked to have seen be in better shape, we made the best of it and enjoyed celebrating a 90th birthday.

Check in was seamless and easy. My only complaint would be the two bedrooms on first floor we were told they were both king beds and one one room had a king bed, otherwise the cabin was great. All the kids loved everything from the game room, pool to the creek in the front of the property.

Pictures are exactly accurate. Had an awesome time there. Pool and movie room was a huge hit amongst the kids!!! Communication throughout booking and stay were excellent. We had a family gathering there and it was perfect setup for us. Parking is tight if multiple cars but creative manuevering you can make it work. Most beds are on the firm side. But plenty of beds!! The only complaint and its minor was wish there was more mixing bowls in kitchen, maybe some cutting knifes and never found a pot holder. But there was plenty of tablewear and utensils. Again these were only small issues. Glad we had our family gathering at this location!!!

The cabin itself was clean. However, the pool was a different story. The water was green, there was algae on the bottom, and it definitely did not look like it had been cleaned. We asked the host about it, and he said it had just been cleaned, but there was no smell of chlorine and the pool did not appear to be properly maintained. This was very disappointing, especially since the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this property.
