The location is high up on the hill above Hydra Town so if you have any physical issues you should be aware that there are a lot of steps. We did struggle on the first climb up there but it became easier with time. On the plus side because of that climb the view from the terrace was spectacular. You can see the whole of Hydra town and also the sunset to the west over Kamini Bay.
The appartment has everything you need & is in a quiet part of town. The host was really helpful and gave us recomendations for restaurants and beaches. The kitchen, bathroom/shower and bedrooms were all perfect for our needs.
There really wasn't anything we didn't like. A bread knife would have been useful and a cable car to the top of the hill!

Hydra's View House is a beautiful accomodation, tastefully furnished, spotless clean and run by a very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable host and his lovely mum.
The walk to the accomodation can be exhausting yet atmospheric and is rewarded with the most breathtaking view onto the sea and the harbour. What a treat to relax on the rooftop terrasse!
The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking and the modern bathroom has a great shower. Both bedrooms have fantastic views.
A lovely accomodation on a gorgeous island!

Magnificent location, clean, comfortable and well equipped. My wife, daughter and I spent a wonderful week at Hydra's View House in July. The house is as beautiful as the pictures show, well equipped and spotless. Yes, the view from the two rooms and the charming terrasse on top is absolutely amazing. The hosts are charming, welcoming and easy to reach if needed. If you want the perfect spot to enjoy Hydra, this house is it, for sure.
I cannot think of anything that we did not like.

The host was very welcoming and always available. The view was wonderful, the house very clean and well-equipped with everything you need. Good air-con and just all in all a wonderful place to stay in Hydra
The stairs to the terrace might be quite challenging for some people
