The ship was lovely, as was our wonderful room, lovely bath tub looking out to the view, bed facing out to the view. It was nice to have a kettle in the room to make a coffee. Staff were amazing, just couldn’t do enough for you. Even the excursions the staff were fantastic and loved all the things you had to do. Food was excellent, so much available and if you have any special food issues, they took it very seriously..great happy hour n the top deck. Small cooking demo on the top deck in happy hour was fun. Big thanks to Leon the cruise director, couldn’t do enough for you, also Sunny who was the restaurant manager, once again couldn’t do enough for you, all the staff were so genuine and friendly and helpful. Yi on the excursion was so helpful and made our day cycling, canoeing and swim so enjoyable and great lunch on the excursion.
This exceeded our expectations and we loved every minute. If you want to see it look at Brian and Carrie on YouTube Halong bay, that’s where we got the idea from to go on this ship and it’s exactly as they show you. Have fun
Just one little suggestion. Could you get some back support for the canoes, they were vey uncomfortable in your back. A lot of people ended up laying flat

We had an amazing time aboard Mon Cheri Cruises! Everything was beautifully organised, and the staff really went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
A big thank you to Anna, our lovely waitress, and Jimmy, who was fantastic both as a waiter and barman. And a very special mention to Leon, the cruise manager, who looked after absolutely everything with genuine care and kindness. You can tell he puts his heart into what he does.
Having experienced it ourselves, I honestly can’t relate to some of the negative reviews I’ve read. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful.

Good room, good bar
Sewerage pipe over flowed onto our balcony. Very expensive bar. The boat did not move much. They took room card off of us every time we left the boat
