Grand federation home, beautifully restored with 6 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious well-equipped country-style kitchen, wraparound verandas and luscious living areas.
Wireless internet, great for large groups, family reunion, corporate retreat, bushwalking weekend or just enjoy the cosy atmosphere with gas central heating.

One of great things about Coomonderry is that it has 6 beautifully restored bedrooms,with double sofa bed in second lounge room(just like an extra bedroom) which can comfortably sleep 16 people.
1. The Yellow Room: 1 Double bed
2. Hinkler Room: 1 Queen bed
3. Carrington Room: 1 Queen bed
4. The Library lounge room: 1 Double sofa bed
5. News Room: 1 Double bed
6. Tillies Room: 1 Double bed
7. The Loft: 1 Double bed, 2 single beds (great for kids!)
What's so good about Coomonderry?
Set in beautiful gardens in a central position opposite Hinkler Park and close to cafes, galleries and bush walks.
Unlimited hot water and cosy central heating, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
Great outdoor entertaining area with modern gas barbecue located just off the kitchen and indoor eating area.
If you wish to bring your well behaved dog please ask when booking.

We thought the beds were comfortable and just right for blankets etc, The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of seating for the size of our group. The more energetic of us enjoyed the ability to walk to the lookout and restaurants. The warmth of the building was also just right, our only problem was that when we went to turn off the heating we weren't sure if we got it off or somehow turned it back on. Sorry Peter. The shower in the bath nearest the kitchen probably needs a bath mat for safety reasons. but that's small potatoes compared to the excellence of the property and everything it has to offer.

This house made a great home ground for a combined family holiday. Was spacious enough for 8 adults and 5 kids. Only negative was that the central heating did not always work the same throughout the house as some rooms were cooler then others.

Beautiful country house (interior and exterior) in the heart of Katoomba, walking distance to the three sisters and also to the town centre. Fully equipped. Excellent communication from the host. Highly recommended.
