Abysmal

Nothing

The very rude man who ran it. We were at the locked gates and called him on the phone, only for him to hang up twice because we couldn’t speak French. We booked in English and sent him messages in French saying we were outside the gate.

4 / 10

Unacceptable.

Nothing really

On Google it’s shown as a ‘bed and breakfast in Sainte-Anne-sur-Vilaine’ except breakfast is not included which is embarrassing if you haven’t a spare €22 cash. Apart from that there was no one there except the cats and , later, a local lady who came in to provide the evening meal, the whole place was unkempt, mould came out of the jets in the bath, I could go on. It was a shambles.

10 / 10

A highly memorable stay

Marc is an outstanding host. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a swim in the pool upon our arrival (it was a very hot day.) The evening meal was beautifully cooked and the company was very sociable. We needed to leave at 4.30am and Marc was up and had a beautiful breakfast prepared for us. Staying on a working farm was a treat.

The mosquitoes - we left our door open to catch some breeze, but the mozzies made themselves at home! (Our fault!)

Bedroom and en-suite were clean and acceptable.

Not a lot to like about this place. Absolute not as advertised.very difficult to find, for an international traveller communication was very difficult. Facilities were definitely not as advertised. The supposed executive suite didn't exist, and the surrounding grounds were very overgrown.
