This charming 1 bedroom cabin is truly a hidden gem, nestled in the tall oaks in the town of Glenwood Springs. It is a fully modernized log cabin, equipped with all the modern conveniences necessary to make your vacation comfortable and relaxing.
The cabin is just steps away from everything Glenwood has to offer...
The Red Mountain/Jeanne Golay hiking trail is literally across the street, providing panoramic views of the Roaring Fork Valley below. A short walk through the trees places you at Veltus Park, which lies along the Roaring Fork River for rafting, fishing or a cool dip in the water. And you'll find tennis and basketball courts there also.
PLUS just a short drive and you are in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley with all of it's skiing, rafting, hiking, rock climbing, and fine dining, including the glamour of Aspen or Vail.
Or you may choose to stay at the cabin to just sit back and relax on the porch or under the shade of the trees, enjoying the beautifully landscaped yard and the sound of the birds overhead.
The cabin is able to accommodate 4, as there is a loft with queen mattress OR use the pull out sofa in the living room.
However, when the living room couch is pulled out, there is little room for anyone to move about. and though the loft has a queen mattress on the floor, the ceiling is very low and there is no room for anyone to stand upright.
Please be respectful of the 4 person maximum.

We had a perfect visit!From storage containers to shampoo/conditioner to coffee, spices, and more... These hosts thought of everything! Walkable to downtown area and river access. Lots of info in their guidebooks and magazines left behind. Our son loved sleeping in the loft area, though the stairs surprised him a bit the first time :DIf I were to give any feedback to the hosts:1. Please leave directions for how to use the washing machine and dryer. Ours at home has just 3 buttons and this one seemed complicated for some reason.2. Directions to get to the house were clear but we still passed it 3 times in the dark. Perhaps put a landmark (owl statue, 'Hidden Gem' sign, or brightly colored pinwheels to help people locate it without having to dig out instructions.3. Citronella candle for front porch sittingVery minor but worth wishing for!We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to Glenwood Springs!

Our experience was absolutely amazing! Our host found out that we were on our honeymoon and had a special surprise for us. It was lovely! We enjoyed every moment of our time in your beautiful home. Thank you for sharing.

Great place!! Super cute and close to everything. We were able to walk to Strawberry Days and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. I will be back to this beauty! Truly a Gem!!!
