Good room, Would stay again
Location was good and the decor was nice and water pressure in the shower was great (I have had some that barely worked other places). It was a nice surprise to find the boogie boards and the snorkel gear in the closet. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed to make meals. Bed was a good size. Tv and WiFi worked. Washer and dryer worked great and was so convenient. I liked the big dresser under the tv with all the drawers. The view from the lanai was really nice! There was plenty of bath towels for the 6 days we stayed there. The full size fridge and kitchen was great, so convenient.
The carpets in our room were stained. I would say replace them or at least get an area rug to cover the stains. The pool at the property was way too warm. It felt like a hot tub and it was a hot day so it just would’ve been better not so hot. The decor in the listing photos online was MUCH nicer than what it ended up being when we got there. The couch had been changed for a different one and the cute stuff in the photos was not there like the place settings at the table inside and the one on the patio, the cute little starfish decorations, and the lei in the bathroom photo was not included and the tropical pillows were different too. The photos showed a super cute little bottle of something and a hibiscus flower in the end of the bed, which would have been so nice because it was my husband and I’s anniversary trip, but that was not included either, so I’m not sure why it’s in the photo. That was disappointing because it was all super cute in the pictures and then when we got there it was looking pretty plain and drab. but everything worked at least. The shower glass didn’t block all the water from getting on the floor, I think adding a shower door would be better. I would recommend adding a first aid kit somewhere, my husband cut open his foot on some coral and we had nothing, needed bandage and Neosporin. We could have used a few more hangers in the closet. We didn’t have enough. There was no dryer sheets, maybe add some.
The AC kept turning off in the middle of the night so the room would get too warm and then we had to flip the switch off and back on at like 2am. Not sure if anything can be done about that. The back door was very difficult to open and close. The pillows on the bed were unusually heavy and thick, I think smaller ones would be better. The coffee maker was rusted underneath the coffee pot. Should probably be replaced. Overall everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. Just always room for improvement!
