We were very happy with Lorenzo's apartment as it had absolutely everything we were looking for (e.g., clean, great location, quiet and great views). Thank you, Lorenzo!

The apartment itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained, and the rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to relax after sightseeing. Our host was excellent-communication was prompt, they helped us secure reservations, and they provided great recommendations throughout our stay. For future guests, there are a few practical things to know. The primary bedroom has a split-level layout with steps around the bed and limited space for unpacking suitcases. There are also two fairly long flights of stairs before reaching the elevator, which is common in historic buildings but worth knowing if mobility or luggage is a concern. The biggest consideration is the location. If you want to be in the absolute center of Florence, just steps from the Duomo, this apartment is ideally situated. During our visit, however, the streets were extremely crowded from morning to late evening. We realized that this area wasn't the best fit for our family's travel style, and in hindsight we would have chosen a quieter neighborhood such as Santa Croce. That's a matter of personal preference rather than a reflection on the host, who was terrific.

Elevator does not stop at the entry level so this is not appropriate for persons with mobility issues. Otherwise, terrific.

This property was perfect for our family. Centrally located, clean and fantastic views. The highlight would definitely be the outdoor space where we could enjoy a cocktail along with the beauty of Florence.
