Very convenient as a stop on a touring holiday. The hotel is clean, modern, and has a fantatsic bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Rooms were compact but well-furnished and spotleasly clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating with securimg our motrocycles.
Being located on the main road meant a fair amount of road noise at night

a rather curious hotel - claims to be arty but little evidence of that to my aesthetic; the food was ok but not really 'artisitic' either in cookery, ingredients or presentation - pretty sparse and not very interesting - but not cheap either (of course - this is Switzerland - with the pound pegging parity with the SFr, rather than the 12 to 1 of not so long ago: at that rate, the hotel and food would be very good value , but fiscal feebleness in the UK and common sense in CH have changed the game).
The only staff member seen was a very helpful young woman - but it seems that she was the only one working.
Parking on site is possible but limited so book in advance - street parking exists - sometimes next to the hotel, more often long walks away. Be careful to park in blue line marked bays - you may be lucky, but if not, your wallet will be drained.
Would I recommend it ? Yes and no - 'yes' if what you want is a stripped down vaguely smart hotel near the town but not in the centre , and you don't mind the sparseness: if you are looking for genuine Swiss hospitality and character in a busy town centre, maybe not.
On price , it was slightly cheaper than others in the town - so , in comparison, maybe a fair choice.
Nothing 'wrong' with it, just not quite 'Swiss' enough.
See above - doesn't quite hit the spot in either architecture or food but much better than a similarly priced chain hotel.
Maybe we hit a low day, later in the day - by French or German standards, not low cost - but Switzerland , in a popular lakeside town, not far from the capital, probably fair value.
