Book this villa at your own peril
The area
WiFi was terrible. It constantly cut out the whole time.
There was no decent kitchen utensils. The knives were so blunt they wouldn't even cut a cucumber or a loaf of bread. We even had to buy a wine corkscrews as the one supplied was broken.
Electrical wiring was very dangerous in bedrooms. One bedroom had all the sockets hanging off the wall. One of my friends got electrocuted by trying to charge her mobile phone. Luckily she was okay but badly shaken. It caused a complete shutdown of the electrics which was at 10pm at night so we couldn't even see to go to the bathrooms.
I found a baby mouse asleep on my bed one afternoon. I know they have got an infestation as a rodent company turned up one of the mornings to check the traps behind the fridge and kitchen units.
The dishwasher did not clean glasses (they came out with a white film on them) so we bought some dishwasher salt but that didn't help.
There was not enough glasses to cater for the 10 people it accommodates.
Doors and windows difficult to close as their hinges are old and rusty.
Terrible damp smell from laundry room that we couldn't get rid of.
When it rained there were terrible smells coming from the bathrooms.
The villa was also very tiired. The sofa fabrics felt unclean to sit on.
Safe doesn't work and the buttons on the front were worn out so you couldn't use it anyway.
The kitchen table was very wobbly to sit around.
The pool was supposed to be cleaned twice a week which it wasn't. it had a huge water spider in it that we had no NB ets to get it out.
One of the bedroom air conditioning units was totally unusable as the bedroom and hallway floor flooded with it on. One of our elderly friends slipped on the wet marble floor through it and smashed her head.
The beds in all but one room were very uncomfortable.
This villa is a total deathtrap.
