The hotel was conveniently located in the Central District and I could easily walk to Taipei Main Station and some coffee shops and 2nd Market. The room was clean and I felt secure.
Basically I was underwhelmed by my stay. My room was on the second floor and I had no privacy from the street below so I had to keep the blinds closed. The room although clean is dated and in need of painting with lots of marks and chips. The power socket at the bed would not keep my charger in place and kept falling out. I could here a lot of noise from the pipes, my shower gurgled whenever someone flushed their toilet above me. I could also hear front desk talking at night and vacuuming on my first night very late at night as the sound proofing was bad. Staff were very rushed on check in and impersonal.
