We had the most perfect time at Thundi Biosphere.
The staff were beyond amazing - we were treated with utmost care and respect, and they all went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and comfortable at all times. They made our stay truly magical.
The location is stunning, right on the beach with a few second walk to the bikini beach.
Every meal was accompanied by the gorgeous view of the beach from the restaurant. The food was simple but full of flavour and plenty of meals to choose from, very generous portions as well.
Beautiful and rich local reef to snorkel around, and daily opportunities to go on tours further out. We also got the opportunity to meet some of the island's locals which was a wonderful experience. The people are incredibly humble and welcoming.
Room was spacious, tall ceilings, big and comfortable bed, large bathroom and beautiful balcony overlooking the beach. Couldn't ask for more and we hope to come back in the future.

Our honeymoon at this resort was an absolute 10/10! The wonderfully friendly and attentive staff went completely out of their way for us, surprising us with beautiful room decorations and a romantic candlelit dinner inside a heart carved in the sand. Our room was spotless, the food was amazing, and we were just steps from the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen.We loved that Maalhos is a quiet, local island. It offered a unique travel experience that felt far better and more authentic than the tourist islands. The tours were fantastic, and the staff ensured we had the best scuba diving experiences. We saw rays and turtles, and our guides were brilliant to be around while prioritizing our safety. The resort is stunningly beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for more!

What a fabulous hotel, right on the beach looking out over the beautiful turquoise water. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable (there could have been a few more coat hangers). Water was replenished daily but if you wanted more this could be asked for. Small fridge, we bought fresh milk for tea/coffee. The staff were amazing and really looked after you, nothing was too much trouble - Emi, San, Hussain, Mona, Peppi, Mr Mujey and Juel (I may have missed a couple). The trips were definitely worth going on turtle spotting (we saw dozens) and Manta ray spotting, we were lucky and swam with half a dozen (not scary, I was a bit nervous but absolutely loved it), Peppi and Hussain were very knowledgeable. Breakfast was nice (not brilliant), fresh omelet or eggs cooked to order but very little fruit (the resorts take priority and its very expensive).
I would definitely visit again. Two cafes on the Island, the Rose and another, both worth a visit, we alternated this with the buffet in the hotel, again nice but samey. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach.
Not enough coat hangers for our clothes. We stayed 10 days and that was too long on one island, luckily there was a local women volleyball tournament during the evening and we went to watch most nights.

Location is perfect on the beach and very close to bikini beach and dive centre.
The building is newly renovated and spotless.
