Excellent location - literally just a set of steps away from the walled town. Apartment well equipped. The owners gave us a lift to the station on our last morning which was very kind indeed
We used the garage and used our car each day - we had to let the owners know every evening when we needed it as they needed to move our car to the front of the garage each day, which meant we felt we were being an inconvenience. Also make sure you know which apartment you are renting, as we thought we had a terrace with a view but that wasn't the case. There was no soundproofing and so could hear people / children in the other apartments, but this wasn't a massive issue

The apartment was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The terrace was stunning. We also really appreciated our host picking us up from the train station, it made our arrival so much easier. Taormina itself is simply beautiful and we truly loved our stay at La Cartolina!

The apartment was very centrally located for the main sights. We were met at the property and had everything explained. It was a nice touch that water, wine and coffee were provided. We paid for the garage which was secure.
The balcony was a lovely place to sit and have a drink after a good day sightseeing. Spacious clean apartment.
The air conditioning in the bedroom was a little noisy and the parking wasn’t cheap at €20 per night.

Great to have a washing machine. Bikes stored in garage overnight.
Some noise from plumbing in adjacent apartment. Bathroom floor was not clean.
