Aloe Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The location is lovely, with beautiful views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
The host was excellent, providing clear and detailed instructions before arrival and throughout our stay, making everything seamless and stress-free. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats featuring local products, which added a personal touch and made us feel especially welcome.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage, particularly the opportunity to relax and unwind while taking in the beautiful surroundings. One of our favourite moments was watching the Nguni cows wander past in the afternoons, which added to the charm of the experience.
There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The braai grill did not fit the braai properly, which made cooking a little challenging. The road running in front of the property can also be somewhat noisy at times.
That said, as we spent most days exploring the area, neither of these issues significantly impacted our stay, and they certainly did not detract from an otherwise wonderful experience.

Main bedroom onsuite shower has a slow drainage. I rather used the shower in 2nd bathroom.
Hairdryer in 2nd bedroom does not work properly, due to loose connection in electric cord.

The place was very comfortable and well equipped. Liked the fire place and enough wood was provided.
The floor, carpets and lounge suite were full of dog hairs. Floors were not cleaned and big spiderweb in corner of lounge.
