The worst and dirtiest apartment I’ve ever stayed
It's an awful dirty apartment, best recommendation is to save your money, time and nerves and not to rent it by any cost. Its said its brand new but in real it's been rented for at least five years without any renovation at all and looked nothing like the pictures. Will start from the beginning: the host insisted on us sending a copy of the credit card from both sides via WhatsApp which was already strange. I disagreed therefore they asked to come to their office before check in to fill in credit card details which was fine. Although I confirmed our arrival time few times before as well as one hour before arriving from the airport, we had to wait in front of the office for one hour with +32 because no one was there... so why did I confirm it in advance if no one cared to show up on time..?
We were informed an early check in/late check out would cost 400 NIS and should not come even 30 min earlier.
As soon as we entered the apartment I called the host asking him to come and check the apartment condition as it was terrible: every single wall in all rooms was either dirty or in dark skretches , walls and ceiling damaged with water, halls in the sofa, big oily marks on the other sofa, light in the leaving room was broken, all the hangers in the shower were broken as well as shower itself, used dirty curtain in the shower plus the washing machine was leaking a lot without us using it and a lot of red ants on the bed which can cause health problems, no toilet paper, no shampoo, under the folding sofa it’s full of dust although it is supposed to be just after cleaning. When the host arrived, he said that its not the apartment but the building itself is new and I should read carefully what I book and now get it as it is, to fix the problem with the sofa that was disgusting even to touch, he brought one bed linen which was in blood drops when we opened it.
The washing machine had so much water around it that kept coming out so when I asked him what shall we do, he didn’t even want to step into the bathroom to see the bathroom condition because his shoes would get wet from all the water around and recommended us to mop it giving a bucket and old towel until they fix it maybe the next day or a day after. Before checking in he ensured we have everything fixed but the whole apartment was really badly damaged and he got really mad and aggressive and with Increased voice said We are all free to leave if we don’t like it and it’s not his problem and that he is “fed up with the situation and don’t care anymore “ and just left. Contacting him again was useless as no one responded. While we were away the next morning they entered the apartment without our agreement although I asked not to do it when we are not home, we discovered someone mopped the floor around the washing machine as there was a lot of water and couldn’t disappear in 4 hours when we were away, moved things in the bathroom, turned on AC and put old towel near washing machine which previously was aside. After 3rd try to get an answer why they entered the apartment on our absence although I forbidden it, he said no one came there which was a lie. We never heard from the host since as I requested to check out as soon as possible and refund the costs we payed but instead had to mop the floor every 45-60 min while being in the apartment for the next 5 days as otherwise it was impossible to enter a room and bathroom. The place itself is very noisy that’s why we had difficulties to sleep at night. Do not stay with Shorty Tel Aviv if you don’t want to ruin your holidays living in terrible conditions.
