About this house rental
This is a very special family home built on a lot that we have owned since 1986. I am very happy to be able to share it with a select group of people who will value its uniqueness and treat it as if it were their family home. The living area is very large but there are smaller quiet spaces where one can get away. The huge game room upstairs is a great place to watch movies. There is a small 'nook' downstairs where we also have a TV. Two screened porches, a roof deck, outside patio and front courtyard give people lots of places to gather outside also. The mid-century furniture and art work was collected over several years. Designed by DeLoach Design of New York and Charlottesville, there are surprise details everywhere throughout the home.

Beautiful beach house, upfitted with top notch furnishings and decor. Very roomy so everyone can have their own space. The beach is wide, clean and was uncrowded. The town of Fernandina Beach is great fun and the south end of the island is wild and beautiful.

We are in love with this house. When you first enter, your jaw will drop. The entryway is beautiful and decorated with an enormous colorful chandelier and you can see the Ocean from the front door. The house has the perfect combination of WOW factor and comforts of home. The big round dining table can fit 10 people and is great for having conversations with everyone. The beds and linens are very comfortable and clean and there are many choices for types of pillows and blankets. Each room is decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well stocked and the big gas range is a pleasure to use. We love the Green Egg for barbecuing. The game room with Apple TV is very big and has tons of seating. It is a great spot to catch up on Netflix episodes, watch movies or in our case see Hockey games. The downstairs TV room is cozy and yet still comfortably seats 6 people. The bathrooms are all beautiful and very functional, with top of the line hair dryers and strong showers. There are lots of high end beach towels & bath towels. The decks, porches and courtyards provide many options for enjoying sun, shade and ocean views. Beach access is just a few steps out the door and since there aren't hotels or condos nearby it rarely gets very crowded. And finally, Lynne is very responsive to any issues or questions. We will be back again next year!
