Retallack Resort by Away Resorts

Tranquil setting and well kept accommodation. Kitchen was well equipped and the complimentary washing up liquid and t towel. The fact it had a washing machine and dishwasher too, although not used, we were impressed they were available. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. We left early due to severe weather conditions and needed to drive home before it arrived.

Rain water leaking off roof onto walkway to Apartment. Made me a little apprehensive, in case I slipped, especially by patch near stairs. (Just recovering from a broken leg this Summer)

Good location for what we were in the area for. Very quiet too. Good place for the dog. Paid extra for him to join us and got given a doggie box. Parking near by. Lodge was well equipped. Team responded well when we needed them as our tv remote did not work.

Arrival experience was mad. Major check in time and parking by the reception was very busy. Quick explanation on where we were staying. The Lodge would of benefitted from a few things being added - a wash up bowl and the sink stopper did not work. Missed not having salt and pepper and had not thought to take this (stayed other places where these have been available). Being on the water did not forsee seeing a rat on the decking one night! Luckily it was our last night and the doors were shut.

Spacious accommodation, very comfortable and well equipped. Great location and base for visiting Cornwall 👍

I have sent an email regarding issues we had all weekend with the hot water and heating

Apart from the above issue. Everything was fine
