About this house rental
Heathergate has surf & sand views. The beach is a few steps from your deck. Great Room looks over the sand & surf with fireplace & knotty pine vaulted ceilings. Great home for anyone that can't do stairs. Three of the 5 bedrooms are on the entry floor along with 2 full baths. There is 2 king bedroom, 2 Queen bedrooms & 1 twin bedroom. Kids love playing in the loft (finished attic space off the twin bedroom). Kitchen is fully stocked for preparing a big meal . Outdoor fire-pit, deck overlooking the ocean with private stairs right down to the sand and a close walk to tide pools. Sun room with wicker furnishings and patio are great for coolers, bikes, etc.

Great sweeping ocean views from just about everywhere inside and out. Loved sitting in the hot tub or deck and watching the surf. Easy to get down to the beach for walks and kite flying. The house was nice and kitschy. Kitchen well outfitted, lots of towels and things around. We enjoyed our time here!

Overall, this was a great place to stay right on the ocean! It was clean and what we expected for the most part. The hot tub was smaller than it appeared in the photos. There was a musty smell when we entered the property, and it seemed like the host was aware of it since there were several bottles of Febreze available. That’s somewhat to be expected with an older home on the water. Overall, host was smooth to work with and we had a great stay!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a girls trip and we all absolutely loved the Heathergate! It was absolutely beautiful, clean and as described. It was easy to get to, great parking, right on the ocean. Working with Karen at A-1 beach rentals, was a breeze and she was so kind. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

The house was great but no bathroom on second floor. The stairs were very dangerous. Steps were very narrow and a place that was steep and no railing provided onto rocks. Even the middle aged physically fit also commented on how dangerous. They do have it posted before you head down the stairs. Due to that we would not stay again at this house
