About this house rental

Contemporary shingle style cottage on Thompson Cove located on the world-class sailing lanes of Eggemoggin Reach. Grey Ledge interior is light and bright with ocean views from nearly every room. Features include a gourmet, fully stocked kitchen, vaulted ceilings, dining area w/ Pella french doors, quality furnishings and gorgeous wood flooring. The beach is a nice mix of pebble shoreline and flat ledges. Grey Ledge provides offers beauty, peace and privacy.

Wonderful home right on the water, with all kinds of marine life to be found in the tidepools! Our family of 7, with two grandkids ages 8 and 10, spent five nights together, enjoying the open spaces downstairs, comfy bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for all. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Deer Isle and the communities along the mainland. But the highlight for us was right out the back doors, exploring the low and high tides, kayaking and even swimming! We brought two kid kayaks and rented two adult kayaks from a local source. The house is well set up for adults; we brought the extras for the kids including books, crafts, and buckets. We loved every minute and didn't want to leave.

Beautiful, well-appointed house with lots of light, very quiet, magnificent location. Wonderful sunrises. The host responded very promptly to messages. We'd love to stay here again.
