About this house rental
Welcome to our restful mountain retreat on the river (Estes Park Vacation Home Business License # 6040). Wade, sit on the rocks, or fish for wild trout in the Big Thompson River and feel your worries fade away. Eat lunch on one of the picnic tables as you admire the mountains, roast marshmallows in the fire pit, or simply relax on the large manicured lawn.
You can enjoy coffee or tea in the morning in the dining room as you watch the wildlife through 5 large windows. Or watch the wildlife from almost any of the other 30 windows in this cozy house - including the five windows surrounding the jetted tub in the master bath! End your day relaxing in one of the large recliners in the sunroom - listening to the river and the other sounds of nature. Views of the snow-capped mountains and the smell of the evergreen trees will stay with you long after you leave.
Our home is in a prime location. We are at the end of a quiet drive with a large private yard that runs down to the river. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is only one mile away where you can enjoy the many trails, rivers, and wonderful sights the park has to offer. Shopping also is available less than one mile away with many quaint stores, restaurants, and peaceful walks along the river.

Great stay for our family and kids in Estes Park! Wonderful location with easy access to downtown and RMNP! Great space and yard with plenty of wildlife sightings. Hosts were very informative and responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a very lovely stay for us! Gail provided a ton of helpful information and it was smooth sailing checking in and getting situated. Very close to RMNP and downtown EP. Enjoyed the views in the backyard and the sound of the river and the wildlife (wild turkeys, squirrels, woodchuck, and lots of birds!) Would happily return for an another visit. :-)

What a stay! So good... we immediately booked for the next year upon checkout. Communication with the owners was second to none. In fact, I would say well above and beyond expectations. Any request was responded to and actioned, even before check-in! Just exceptional, thoughtful, and lovely. Extra care was taken to provide us with every detail we could possibly need. This is in reference to both the property AND surrounding area activities.The location was just perfect. Our kids attended the YMCA day camp and it was 10 minutes from camp 10 minutes from town. And of course, just a stones throw from two main entrances to RMNP. The house had everything we could need and more. My chef brother kept repeating how the kitchen was so "well thought out" and had "all the tools to make a proper meal!" Little touches like children's books and toys, extra towels, plenty of cleaning supplies (and vacuum access) made for a true home away from home. We fell in love with the backyard and river access. What a treat! We had all sorts of animal visitors: elk, deer, marmot, squirrels, on and on!
