Very cozy and interesting place. Great freshly cooked breakfast in a super cosy and calm setting.

The beds were very soft with sort of ‘wobbly’ mattresses in the twin room we had. They could do with replacing.

The bohemian quirky rustic feel and deco. Not to everyone's taste but I loved it. Room was good and met my needs. Met my request of early entry. The whole ambience

Its not that I didn't like but maybe more of a variety for breakfast. For me it was suitable but may not be for others

Cosy & quirky: An unusual room with plenty of character. Comfort: Comfortable bed, although slightly small given the room’s layout. Bathroom: Spacious, with good shower pressure. Facilities: Working TV, tea/coffee supplies and a small kettle. Welcome book: Helpful local recommendations, things to do and property history. Gift shop: A nice extra to browse during your stay.

Privacy: Unconventional layout with an open view into the room from outside, although curtains are provided. No windows: Once the curtains are closed, there’s no natural light or view outside. Cooling: Portable air conditioning was ineffective without an exhaust duct; we relied on our own fan. Power sockets: No plug point beside the bed. Check-in: Strict 4–6 PM window, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. Location: Directly off the A1 and relatively isolated. Alnwick town centre is a five-minute drive away, but driving is essential for dining and nearby amenities. Access: Watch for the West Cawledge Park sign, as the turn into the property is abrupt and easy to miss.
