A laundry room has lots of storage and a large capacity washer and dryer.

A huge deck spans the entire front of the house and gives you spectacular views of both sunrises and sunsets. A patio in the front offers a view of Deer Ridge and shade on hot afternoons.

The property has been in the family since the early 1950s but was recently re-built from the ground-up in 2014. It is a quarter mile walk to the boundary of the National Park or a 2-mile drive from the Beaver Meadows entrance. The town of Estes Park is also about 2 miles away.

Scenery and home were beautiful. Very clean. Plenty of kitchen plates, silverware,, utensils, and appliances. We did not understand that AC was not provided prior to the booking. However, each night was cool and comfortable but the afternoons were hot.

Marty was a great host and the house was one of my best stays. First, the view was amazing, and I loved just sitting and enjoying the view. We had one day where elk hung out in the neighborhood and I got to hear the babies. Second, Marty provided a renters binder with so much helpful information on the house and on Estes Park. We loved that we were able to park in the garage to minimize bear risk. The light switches were all labeled which helped tremendously. The kitchen supplied all our needs for the week. Lastly, this was one of the cleanest places we have stayed. Marty also provided quality paper products and made sure bathrooms had hand soaps and shampoo/conditioners. The home was also in a very convenient location to RMNP and Estes. It was a good house and great vacation.
