Great neighborhood close to Nishiki Market and Teramachi. Walking distance to Ginza. Stayed four people in loft room. Best room of our Japan trip: plenty of space, nice comfortable beds and cool design.
Breakfast options are very limited. We opted to eat breakfast at a nearby coffee shop instead, but if you don’t have picky children like us, it’s probably just fine.

This is our second time staying at TSUGU Kyoto, and once again, everything has been amazing! The hotel is spotless, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience is excellent. We truly appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail that make every stay so enjoyable.
It’s always a pleasure to come back, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. We would happily stay here again!

Great clean room with tatami area. Location is very central.
Breakfast is small and cold - a bit disappointing for all the Shart Hotels chain.

Location
The fact that there is no sunlight coming into the rooms. Windows are frosted ,small , and hardly opened.
