Excellent.

Good location, walking distance from the train station and town centre 1 street away.

WiFi dropped out occasionally.

Exceptional

Wonderful place, run by wonderful people, I would recommend that to everyone. Easy to get to, parking next to the property.

4 / 10

Disappointing for the price despite a very kind and helpful host, as several basic cleanliness, comfort and security det

The gentleman who welcomed me and later came back to bring replacement bed linen was extremely kind, polite and helpful. I really appreciated his attitude and his willingness to help. Communication was also responsive when I mentioned the issue with the sheets. The location was convenient, with a convenience store just across the street.

Unfortunately, several details made the stay disappointing considering I paid around €90 for one night. Before arriving, I asked if I could potentially check in at 9 pm instead of the 8:30 pm limit and was told it would cost an additional 50 PLN. I also asked about a late check-out at 1 pm instead of 11 am and was quoted 100 PLN for both. In the end, I arrived at 7:30 pm, within the normal check-in hours, but I was still charged an additional 100 PLN, which I didn’t really understand. The bed linen had several visible old stains. I was told that it had been washed but that the stains wouldn’t come out. I understand that it may have been clean, but I think visibly stained linen should simply be replaced in a rental accommodation. The gentleman kindly brought me replacement sheets after I contacted them, although one still had a small mark. As it was almost 10 pm and I was tired, I decided not to ask again. The towels were quite old and rough, and one had what appeared to be a bleach stain. There was also no shower gel/body soap, so I had to use the hand soap, and none of the bins had bin bags. I wanted to drink tap water, but the end of the faucet had a significant amount of greenish limescale/residue, which made me uncomfortable drinking from it. I ended up going to the convenience store across the street at 10:30 pm to buy bottled water. The bath/shower temperature was also difficult to regulate, as the water seemed to go from very hot to cold without an easy temperature in between. Finally, as a woman travelling alone, I would have appreciated an additional lock or latch on the inside of the apartment door. There is no way to physically secure it from the inside, which made me feel a little uncomfortable at night. The entrance hall also felt slightly intimidating when arriving alone.
