It is located in a place looking like a far Aegean island, feeling like you are away from it all. You can't believe this place is only 50 km from down town Athens!
Acropolis, a World Class monument, its famous new museum, all major archaeological sites, the picturesque old Plaka and the modern city are at a little more than an hours reach, along with numerous cultural and recreational possibilities.
Schinias in Marathon where villa is located, is a top rated beach of Athens, boasting more than 6 km of sandy beach, with crystal clear and mostly calm waters, and a rare cone forest reaching to the water edge!
The Villa itself, is a rare example of traditional architecture, built with stones from its own land, in an inspired 'castle like' design.

Aww, only 1 week, it was hard to leave this place! What an amazing location, with all the key ingredients for core memories at any age. Quick walk or drive to some cool swimming locations, but also an amazing picturesque pool next to a nicely shaded area to relax, have breakfast and unwind with friends. I was worried about heat in July but the air conditioning in all of the rooms worked super quick. It's easy to get lost in the many areas of the house, but it offers a great spot to go with groups of friends, or a big family, with separate bathrooms for almost all guests and ample cooking and lounging areas, not that it's easy to be drawn away from the amazing pool area. Michael was a great, communicative, generous host, offering us a warm welcome and great tips about the area and place. Everything was very clean and organized, and you can't beat the location. What a great experience. Thank you for hosting us!

This villa is unbelievable. It feels like you are staying in a fantasy. It is an incredibly interesting home: Michael was just amazing to deal with. He was responsive and clearly has a passion for meeting new people and helping them to have an unforgettable experience. I could not ask for more from a home or from a host. Michael welcomed us upon arrival and made sure every step of our visit was incredible. I would highly recommend. This place will not disappoint.

The home was spacious and magnificent. We could not have found a better host. He was always available for questions and very prompt with answers. He went over every detail of the property in addition to spots we could visit. Home was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for our 14 day stay. There were 10 of us and no complaints. So gracious. The view was spectacular. Also we got around the area quite well and enjoyed restaurants close by multiple times.

Michael, our host gave us a tour and made us Greek dakos afterwards. The kitchen was wondeful for cooking and the mini market is just up the street. The pool was cool and refreshing with an amazing view of the sea. There are plenty of bedrooms in the North and South wing. The castle is so unique in old world style. It was a magical place.
