About this chalet rental
Sunnyside Chalet has everything you need to relax. We have wireless internet. All Linens are provided, the bedspread is washed between each visit. Sleeps 4 comfortably with a king bed in the Master Bedroom and bunk beds set up in the bunk house. Kids love sleeping in the bunk house! We have smart TVs, with YouTube and many other free Internet services. A fully functional kitchen is provided with everything you need. Great back porch to watch the kids, birds, and other activities on the lake. You will spend hours relaxing on the porch with the swing and glider. We have games and books to help entertain your family on those rainy days.
SunnySide Chalet is lakefront on Lake Chatuge. The front lawn is pretty level for a game of volley ball or throwing a football. Lake Chatuge is approximately 7,200 acres of lake and 133 miles of shoreline. SunnySide Chalet is a nice place to relax, watch birds, fish, and play in the lake.
Please Note: Lake Chatuge is lowered in the winter to control flooding. Water in the cove can not be guaranteed.

The Challet was clean and well appointed. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The location is convenient, yet off the beaten path. The lake looks lovely. Our neighbors had trouble with the shallow water and their boat, so check lake levels before you decide to go boating. The only real complaint I had was that the hosts put scented EVERYTHING in the challet. All the bedding was washed with scented detergent, the bedroom had a diffuser, the whole place absolutely reeked of lavender. Me, I've never been a fan of lavender in particular and scents actually tend to give me a headache. Allergy folks should beware. Thankfully, I always travel with a bottle of Febreze unscented, so after the first night (which I spent in the living room instead of the bedroom) I was able to stand the bedroom after I moved the diffuser out and sprayed the heck out of the whole place.

Our host Cas was very helpful and quickly responded to a couple of questions that we had. Check in was super simple. The Chalet was just perfect for us, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely book with Cas and James again.
