Close to town (less than 1/2 mile walk to Main Street) and easy access to the bike paths to Surfside and Cisco, On the Way House is a completely renovated Nantucket classic home, with a new kitchen/great room, central air conditioning, new bathrooms, and designer decorated in a soothing palette!
On the Way House was originally built in 1840 and is maintained in pristine condition and outfitted luxuriously for your every need. 3 'en suite' bedrooms/bathrooms - master with king bed and guest with queen bed - 3rd bedroom has twin beds. Kitchen/great room and master bedroom have smart TVs. Family room accesses back deck, back yard. Beautiful gardens. Private driveway holds two plus cars.
PLEASE NOTE: I RENT ONE WEEK MINIMUM June, July and August. Three day minimum otherwise.

My friends and I had the most amazing time staying at this property in Nantucket. Jodi made it very easy for us to book and stay on the property. She was so kind and attentive. She responded quickly to all our questions. The property was decorated beautifully and very very clean (thank you Nadia). One of my friends works in the art world, and she couldn’t stop talking about the decor of the house. The layout was also perfect for our needs. We each had our own en-suite bedroom and the shared space was perfect for us. Jodi thought of every little detail to make our stay as convenient as possible. The house was in a perfect location. It was a 10-minute walk to town, a 10-minute walk to the nearby Stop & Shop, and a 15-minute bike ride to Surfside beach. A couple of times, we actually walked to Surfside beach (I think it was about 2.1 miles and you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas there). Also if you didn’t want to go to town, there were restaurants, cafes, and bakeries within walking distance. We didn’t realize until the last day that The Chicken Box was close by. Wish we had known sooner! I highly recommend this property and would stay here again!

Our family has traveled to Nantucket on multiple occasions so we have very good perspective of the rental market. I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences we have had and we would most certainly book again! Jodi was a fantastic host, the home is beautiful, the location is great, and the price was right. Thank you, Jodi, for sharing your home with us and we hope to cross paths with you again in the future!

The place was amazing-- I am not sure if I didn't read everything that closely, but we were pleasantly surprised it was a whole freestanding house. For some reason I thought it was more of an apartment. It has a gorgeous outdoor space, tons of living space, etc.

We loved our stay at Jodi's beautiful home! Jodi was so easy to stay in touch with, the house was beautiful decorated, spacious and had everything you could ever need. We loved hanging out on the deck with our morning coffee and in the evenings grilling out.
